2nd Prize: FUJIFILM X-E5 camera with a 23 mm lens and PLN 3,000
3rd Prize: FUJIFILM X-E5 camera with a 23 mm lens and PLN 2,000
The prizes are sponsored by Fujifilm Poland sp. z o.o.
The Częstochowa Museum will fund the First and Third Prize cash awards, while the Jan Długosz University of Częstochowa will fund the Second Prize cash award.
The best photographs will be presented at the post-competition exhibition, in the catalogue, on the competition website,
www.momentstreetphoto.pl and on the Competition’s social media channels. The Jury will determine the number of photographs selected for the exhibition.
6. Competition Theme:
The Competition is devoted to street photography. Photographs, which are submitted to the Competition, must have been taken in the spirit of street photography.
7. Conditions of Entry:
7A. The Competition is open to all photographers who are 18 years of age or older.
Photographs, submitted to the Competition, must have been taken after 31st October 2024.
A maximum of five (5) photographs may be submitted.
Photographs must be submitted by 31 October 2026 via the participant panel, following prior registering on the Competition website –
www.momentstreetphoto.pl – and payment of an entry fee of PLN 100 / EUR 24 (card payments and electronic bank transfers are processed through Przelewy24).
The entry fee is fixed, irrespective of the number of photographs submitted, and is non-refundable.
Photographs must be saved in JPG format. The longer side of the image must be at least 1,500 pixels, and the image resolution must be at least 150 dpi.
7B. If a photograph is selected for the post-competition exhibition, the Organiser will contact the Competition participant and request that the digital file be submitted, at the highest available resolution, within the specified deadline, which will be no less than 24 hours from receipt of the Organiser’s notification.
Failure to provide the requested file within the specified period will result in the disqualification of the Competition participant.
7C. The processing of photographs, which are submitted to the Competition, may be limited solely to adjustments corresponding to techniques which are traditionally used in the photographic darkroom, namely cropping, exposure adjustment, contrast adjustment and conversion to black and white.
Any other alterations, particularly photomontage or compositing, are prohibited and may result in disqualification.
The Organiser reserves the right to request that a participant provide the original source file for inspection in order to resolve any doubts that may arise.
7D. By submitting photographs to the Competition and ticking the appropriate consent box during registration, the entrant confirms that they are the author of the submitted photographs and grants the Organiser a royalty-free, non-exclusive licence, unlimited in duration and territorial scope, with the right to grant further sublicences to third parties, to use the submitted photographs for purposes connected with conducting and promoting the Competition and publishing its results, including publication in the press and on the Internet (through the official communication channels of the Organiser, Co-organisers and Partners of the Competition).
The licence is granted in respect of the following fields of exploitation:
recording and reproduction of the work – producing copies of the work using specified techniques, including printing, reprographic, magnetic recording and digital techniques;
dissemination of the work through public performance, exhibition, display, playback, broadcasting and rebroadcasting, as well as making the work available to the public, in such a way that members of the public may access it from a place and at a time personally chosen by them;
placing copies of the work on the market by any means.
7E. The Competition participant will bear the full responsibility for any infringement of copyright or personal rights which may arise from the submission of a photograph. Should any third party bring a claim against the Organiser in connection with any such infringement, the participant will be obliged to indemnify and hold harmless the entity against which the claim is made from any and all liability arising in this respect.
7F. The participant consents, free of charge, to the recording and dissemination of their image by the Organiser and Co-organisers of the FUJIFILM MOMENT STREET PHOTO AWARDS 2026 in connection with their possible attendance at the exhibition opening.
8. Processing of Personal Data:
8A. The personal data of Competition participants will be processed by the Organiser and Co-organisers, acting as joint controllers of personal data within the meaning of Article 26 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 (GDPR), solely for purposes relating to the organisation, conduct and promotion of the Competition, in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR, the Act of 10th May 2018 on the Protection of Personal Data, and these Rules and Regulations.
8B. The participant acknowledges that their personal data will be processed by the Organiser and Co-organisers for the purposes of organising, conducting and promoting the Competition, selecting the winners, awarding prizes, publishing the Competition results, and organising the post-competition exhibition, in accordance with the provisions of these Rules and Regulations and the Privacy Notice constituting Appendix No. 1 to these Rules and Regulations.
8C. The Organiser and Co-organisers are entitled to publish information concerning the results of the Competition, including the first and last names of the winners and participants receiving distinctions, as well as their country and place of residence and, at the participant’s request and provided that it was supplied in the entry form, their social media username (profile).
8D. Should a photograph be selected for the post-competition exhibition or for publications related to the Competition, the Organiser and Co-organisers may display, alongside the photograph, the author’s first and last name and their country and place of residence, as well as, at the participant’s request and provided that it was supplied in the entry form, their social media username (profile).
8E. Photographs, which are selected for the post-competition exhibition, may be displayed at the post-competition exhibition and at subsequent exhibitions organised or co-organised by the Organiser and Co-organisers, in Poland and abroad. In connection with the display of the photographs, the Organiser and Co-organisers may include the author’s details referred to in Clause 8D.
8F. The participant acknowledges that photographs and video recordings may be taken during events relating to the Competition, especially the announcement of the results, the award ceremony, the exhibition opening and the post-competition exhibition, for the purposes of documenting and promoting the statutory activities of the Organiser and Co-organisers.
The participant’s image, recorded during these events, may be used and disseminated in the information, education and promotion materials of the Organiser and Co-organisers, as well as in the media.
8G. Competition winners and authors, whose works have been selected for the post-competition exhibition, may be asked to provide additional personal data necessary for the delivery of prizes, certificates, post-competition and exhibition catalogues, and for the fulfilment of obligations arising under applicable law.
8H. Detailed information, regarding the processing of personal data, including the rights of Competition participants, is set out in the Privacy Notice constituting Appendix No. 1 to these Rules and Regulations.
9. The Organiser will notify the successful participants, by email, that their photographs have been selected for the post-competition exhibition.
10. Employees and members of the governing bodies of the Organiser and Co-organisers, as well as members of the immediate families of the aforementioned persons, are not eligible to participate in the Competition.
11. Submitting works to the Competition constitutes acceptance of the provisions of these Rules and Regulations and the Privacy Policy available on the Competition website, and confirmation that the participant has read the Privacy Notice concerning the processing of personal data, constituting Appendix No. 1 to these Rules and Regulations.
12. Complaints:
Each participant has the right to submit a complaint concerning matters related to the operation of the Competition. Complaints should be submitted electronically to the Organiser at moment@muzeumczestochowa.pl, or in writing to the Organiser’s postal address.
The Organiser will consider a complaint within fourteen working days of its receipt. Complaints, arising from failing to comply with the provisions of these Rules and Regulations, will not be considered.
A response to the complaint will be sent to the email address provided or, to where the complaint has been submitted in writing, to the email address specified in the written complaint.
The Organiser reserves the right to extend the period for considering a complaint, where its consideration requires specialist knowledge or where circumstances, which are beyond the Organiser’s control, prevent or delay its consideration (including equipment failure, Internet outage, etc.).
The Organiser also reserves the right to ask for additional information or clarification, where needed, for the consideration of a complaint. The time, required for the participant to provide such information or clarification, will, in each case, extend the period for considering the complaint accordingly.
The Organiser advises that any complaints, regarding payments processed through Przelewy24, access to which has been made available to the participant by the Organiser, will be considered in accordance with the terms and procedures set out in the Przelewy24 Terms of Service.

PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION
In accordance with Articles 13 and 26 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27th April 2016 (GDPR), we hereby advise that:

3. Essence of the Arrangement between the Joint Controllers:
The Joint Controllers have agreed on allocating responsibilities relating to the organisation of the Competition and the processing of participants’ personal data.
The Częstochowa Museum is responsible, in particular, for the acceptance of entries to the Competition, maintaining Competition records, providing administrative and financial support, organising the Jury’s work, the post-competition exhibition and the exhibition opening, publishing the post-competition catalogue, and obtaining, from Competition Participants, declarations which are required under applicable law and the Rules and Regulations of the Competition.
The Częstochowa Museum has been designated as the contact point for Competition participants in matters related to the processing of personal data. The designation of a contact point is without prejudice to the right of a data subject to exercise their rights in respect of and against each of the Joint Controllers, in accordance with Article 26(3) of the GDPR.
The Municipality of the City of Częstochowa, the “Gaude Mater” Centre for the Promotion of Culture and Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa will process personal data, as is necessary to perform the tasks assigned to them in connection with the organisation, promotion and documentation of the Competition. The Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa, additionally, will process personal data in connection with funding a prize and providing accommodation for the Competition winners.
Notwithstanding the above, the data subject may exercise their rights under the GDPR in respect of and against each of the Joint Controllers, in accordance with Article 26(3) of the GDPR.
4. The Purposes and Legal Bases for the Processing of Personal Data
The personal data of Competition participants are processed for the following purposes:
organising, conducting and determining the results of the Competition, including accepting entries, assessing submitted works and communicating with participants;
selecting the winners and awarding and delivering prizes;
organising, promoting and documenting the Competition and the post-competition exhibition, including publishing information about the Competition and its results;
fulfilling the obligations arising under applicable law, in particular those regarding to accounting and public finances.
The respective legal bases for the processing of personal data are:
Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – to the extent necessary to accept the participant’s entry, conduct the Competition, and fulfil the rights and obligations arising from the Rules and Regulations of the Competition;
Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – to the extent necessary for compliance with the legal obligations to which the Organiser and Co-organisers are subject, in particular those arising from tax, accounting and archiving regulations;
Article 6(1)(e) of the GDPR – to the extent necessary for the performance of tasks carried out in the public interest, in particular in relation to cultural activities and the promotion of culture;
Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR – to the extent necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the Organiser and Co-organisers, in particular for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
5. The Scope of Personal Data Published
In connection with the organisation, promotion and documentation of the competition, the Organiser and Co-organisers may publish the following personal data of participants:
first and last name;
country and place of residence;
social media username – if provided by the participant in the entry form.
If the image of a participant is recorded, in connection with the organisation of the Competition or any accompanying events (in particular during the exhibition opening, award ceremony or exhibition), that image may be used in accordance with applicable law and the provisions as set out in the Rules and Regulations of the Competition.
The data may be disclosed to an unlimited number of recipients through publication, in particular, on the websites of the Organiser, Co-organisers and the Competition Partner (Fujifilm Poland sp. z o.o., with its registered office at al. Krakowiaków 44, 02-486 Warsaw), on social media, in information and promotion materials, in the post-competition catalogue, in press publications and regarding the organisation and promotion of the post-competition exhibition presented in Poland and abroad.
6. The Recipients of Personal Data
The recipients of the personal data may include entities which provide the Joint Controllers with services necessary for the organisation of the Competition, in particular payment services (Przelewy24), IT, hosting, postal, courier, printing, photography and accounting services, as well as entities authorised to receive personal data pursuant to applicable law.
Personal data may also be disclosed to other recipients for control and audit purposes, the provision of legal services and the defence against legal claims.
7. Period of Data Retention
Personal data will be retained for the period necessary to organise and finalise the Competition and to fulfil archiving purposes arising under applicable law, including the provisions governing the national archival resources and archives, as well as the records management instructions applicable to the respective Joint Controllers.
8. Rights of Individuals - Subjects of the Data
The subject of the data has the right to:
access their personal data;
rectify their personal data;
erasure of their personal data – under circumstances provided for by law;
restriction of processing;
object to processing – under circumstances provided for by law;
lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
9. The Requirement to Provide Personal Data
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary in order to participate in the Competition. Failure to provide the required personal data will make participation in the Competition impossible.
10. Automated Decision-Making
The personal data of participants will not be used for automated decision-making, including profiling.
11. Transferring Personal Data Outside the European Economic Area
As a general rule, personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
Regarding the Organiser and Co-organisers maintaining profiles on social media platforms (including Facebook and Instagram), provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, and using other online platforms for the promotion of the Competition, personal data may be transferred to third countries in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR, in particular on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision or other appropriate safeguards provided for under the GDPR.
